Hey guys. I have this really weird bug. I made a really simple game I've been practicing with. I'm new to MMF2.5. It's a simple game that involves a shoe, and some roaches. The player is the shoe and the enemies are the roaches. So when the roaches attack the player by launching an object, and it touches the player, the player is destroyed. But if the player presses the "fire" button, which is shift, it stops the "destroy animation" and the shoe won't re-spawn. No matter how many lives you have left. And that's really annoying because the player can easily by pounding away on "shoot" button, get killed, and then lock the game up because his avatar disappears. I'll post some images of my event editor. Ignore that restore control on line 18. Originally I thought to fix the problem I'd be able to make a condition right before line 18 that would say "Animation Disappearing is playing: Ignore player 1's control" then condition 18 would read "Animation Disappearing is over: Create new object, restore player 1 control." but that didn't solve my problem. So I have to get rid of that restore control on line 18.

Just figured it out. On line 5, I just added another condition that said "Animation Disappearing is playing" then I right clicked it and chose negate. that was frustrating the hell out of me.
