Saving and loading whats? You can save the .gam files by using the buttons or the menus. Or if you want to save and load states, you can use the INI or Array objects. There's a lot of tuts on them.

What do you need to save values or player positions either way you will end up using the "ini" object.

I will! Here's a basic save - how to save your score:
You need to have the following objects:
-Score object
-INI object (enter in the name of the INI file you want it to make... I will use scoresav.INI)
-A button that says "SAVE" (Button 1)
-A button that says "LOAD" (Button 2)
-A button that says "ADD" (Button 3)
~~~Events~~~
1. Button 3 is clicked
--> Add 1 to score of Player 1
2. Button 1 is clicked
--> INI: set value to (Click Edit) (Click Retrieve data from an object; score of Player 1) (Click OK)
3. Button 2 is clicked
--> Set score of Player 1 to (Click Edit) (Click Retrieve data from an object; INI) (Click OK)
~~~Check to see if it worked~~~
Open up your C:\WINDOWS\ folder and open the INI (scoresav.INI)
It should look like this:
[]
=(whatever the score was when you last saved)
The [] is because there is no group. If you have more than one variable/text being saved then you would set the group of the INI in your event.
There is a lot you can do with INI objects, this is just the absolute basics.
