so i already submitted my game and a message apeared about an admin checking the submission, but i already waited for days and still no message, does it really take that long to do that?

I don't really know much about the inner workings of this website, but I can guess on general knowledge. Because this website doesn't make money (well, on occasion rarely for developers), the caring admins who dedicate some of their spare time to moderation and maintenance of the servers attend the new content and make updates as they wish, but it's fair to say the updates come faster when the community is more active, or to put it accurately, when there are more admins. This website used to get updated every 2 days or so, but i think rikus is the only admin atm

Thanks a lot for the answers, i really dont mind the time that i have to wait, but i was also wondering how often they update or check this site so i really appreciate this reply

Unfortunately you just have to wait for an Admin to be online and check any submissions.
Ive been visiting this site since about 2002 and have to tell you, the site isn't as busy as it once was, sadly.
