Not in my experience. Fusion 2.5 is even slower than MMF2.

Well I DID compare it to TGF and not Fusion 2, so there's that.

I found fusion2.5 to be slower in the iOS runtime, and I was forced to use it because the older builds no longer work as well with Xcode. Rapid development of simple games comes at a cost I guess.
