The Resident Evil Umbrella source is fan game engine I'm been throwing together in my spare time mostly in spare time in order to conduct more experimental skills over 3D in Clickteam Fusion. I have thrown 3D perspectives at Multimedia fusion from 3rd Person Views to First person views of a game type in a game to peice together a fully interative 3D Engine in Clickteam fusion and Multimedia fusion 2.
Index Features
Full 3D Engine (level/scene editor being worked on)
Aiming system Fully implemented
3D Character Models (converted from game)
Console System(for debug and Chat purposes)
Bullet Detection
3D Level Design with 3D Cubes
Movement System with Collisions
Older Updates :
-Fixed Cliping Transparency issues, (Scales and positions of the wallish cubes needs to always be properly aligned and scaled.)
-Added 3rd Person View (Views can be modified back to camera views like the original resident evil fixed camera view)
-Added Fov View for shooting
-Added bits of Camera adjustments (not all the way proper though)
-Added Console & Chat prototype (cmd parameters can be used in console for debuging and graphic settings)
-Added Wheather Efects (Must be done through Texture Animation)
Bugs :
-Collisions needs to be better and adjusted. Player object is too big to fit in some areas.
-Crosshair Prototype needs fixing (Probally size or models mesh)
Notes:
- An open source for Resident Evil (typish game)
- A Full Thirdperson 3D perspective (camera angles may vary)
- Engine is in its earlest stages with a full effective 3d enviornment
Default controls*:
Right Mouse - button (Aiming / Shooting)
Left Mouse - Shoot (While Aiming)
Space - button Shoot
Shift - button Run
Mouse 3 (middle mouse) - button Pistol Whip
"`" - button (Console / chat system)
The player turning is a little odd. The camera pivots in place while the character pivots from the camera, so it looks like hes sliding around when you turn. Kinda weird.
I can't go through doors either, it plays the animation but then doesn't go to the next area. Also the door animation doesn't seem to match the doors themselves.
Anyway an interesting little engine in any case. Good work!
