Hi all,
Ive not been online for ages,
to be honest IVe been trying out unity and godot for the past few years,
I need to look back at some old programs from my MMF files,
and use ClickFusion off steam, and in the last week or two my kaspersky has started deleting the mmf exe, claiming its a virus,
anyone else know how to stop this ?
Ive setup exclusions, but it still blocked it form running and deleted, also when it verified the files to re-download the exe..
Kai.

Most anti-virus have some sort of user-specified whitelisting feature and you can usually submit false positives to the developer.
As someone who has developed a lot of software I know that anti-virus software has A LOT of false positives. As far as I can tell the software is heavily reliant on a patchwork of built-in false positive whitelisting, and so if you come across something flagged as a virus it just means it is not big enough for someone to have reported it as a false positive yet to get it onto the built-in whitelist.

I have now created a guide at https://www.create-games.com/article.asp?id=2368 which includes a section on how to avoid and deal with false positives.
