Ok, I create a ladder with a 32x32 sprite, but when I climb on it, it only climbs on half of the spirte on the right side. I tried using different sprites but it alwasy sets the collision to the right of my sprite.

It might be a hot spot thing, you need to go to the animation editor and check out where the hot spot is. Make in somewhere in the center of the ladder. And check on the player to. (in the center for ladders, not always in the center)

He is talking about the active object's hotspot. You can alter background objects hotspots, or action spots for that matter.

I kinda figured I can't alter the hot spot of the background object. So how do I go about fixing my ladder?

Backgrounds have hotspots aswell, in MMF. Maybe if you're really stuck you could send the source 2 some1.

Ok, you can download my example....and notice the ball can climb up the ladder on the far right without even being on the ladder, but not the left. I want it so you can only climb in the center. I want to edit the hot spot like you said "Backgrounds have hotspots aswell, in MMF", but when I edit the background hotspot is not highlighted.
