A shaman is channelling all the world's pain and misery into an extra dimension called the "World of Torment" to create an evil army of undead. It is up to you, an excommunicated priest, to enter the world and stop the shaman from creating his super army. Throughout the game, you find new powers that you used to have--and you unlock them by finding memories.

Make every1 have Human faces downloaded off the net, and then draw their bodies. Make sure that the bodies are out of proportion. Then the storyline can be they had thier bodies taken away because they were jackasses and they want them back.
Have something with a bit of an RPG element to it.
Like your player can get better through experience from killing enemies and doing quests that you can put on speed, jump and special moves, not to mention weapon powers.
You'll need a good custom platform movement to master it firstly though!
