I need some classic gaming sounds to rip for a small project of mine. The game is something you might play on an Atari 2600--so the sounds would be pretty low-tech.
I need a sound for a gunshot, some short death music, some victory music, and some intro music.
If anybody has some links or something, plz post them. Thanks.

As far as I know, Atari sounds were hard-wired. That's something that can't be easily reproduced.

Get an Atari emulator and record the sounds using a sound recorder program.

I was making a retro game in MMF for the microgames thing. I found it very hard to find old dodgy type sounds on the internet. I eventually managed to scramble together some off MMF's sound effects. Good thing i only needed 2.

The ones you mentioned can be quite easily pulled of wuth a microphone, and windows "Sound Recorder". use objects around you and you can make just about any sound.

Actually AA, that mainly has to do with the Quality of the Microphone, mine is really Muffy because i have a really shitty mike. (around $10 one ) or if your super close, even though i do have a crappy Microphone i can avoid the Muffy sounds when holding it Further away from my mouth which gives alot clearer sound.
