what a waste of time they are turning out to be. if you dont remove the article section altogether, you should rename it to "MY SOAPBOX" where we can listen to insane people ramble about what an article/world/community IS or SHOULD be. >

Well, there are some good articles and some crap ones. Just ramble in the comments section if you don't like an article. Then maybe it might get taken off. But some people beg to differ if their article is really worth being up there. I mean, "How to write a good article" isn't all that helpful, because people have all kinds of styles of writing. And "For free sprites in 30 secs", then asking if anyone wants sprites is really annnoying. There was a spree of them about 2 weeks ago. *Ugh*
