People have posted about avatars, games and i know i have posted where did you get your DC name from.
Is it a name you have used for most things or a charater name.
Mine is Spiderhead (fan charater of Fishhead and in fan game of Fishhead)
My name came from Noodle. He sent me a DC mail saying " Change your name to Joe: Scorpion E " so I did.
Joe is my name, and Scorpion Entertainment is the games company that Noodle made up, and wich I joined.
My name comes from my hometown: Eibergen. Ei means in Dutch: Egg. So I named myself Eggy... Haven't used it for a character name yet, however I think that it's a good idea!
The name Noodle goes far, far back into the misty days of year 7...
There was once a boy, named Fred, (who had a wobbly head, incidently) and he used to play football at dinner (on the tennis courts).
One night, I watched a programme about taxi drivers in Bradford, when some drunks started talking about Chinese people. 'They eat noodles' said one of them in a exaggerated Yorkshire accent (it sounded more like 'Thi ate noodils'). Now I, being me, thought this was hilarious, and I started annoying everyone at school with it (in a way Circy would be proud of).
You may be saying "What's that bit about Fred got to do with this". Well he was the one who said "Shut up...Noodle Boy" in reply to my "They eat noodles". Later on, everyone started calling me it, and the Boy bit was dropped, leaving me with Noodle .
The Scorpion E bit is from Scorpion Entertainment, like Joe said. I made up the 'company' and the name comes from the fact that my star sign is Scorpio.
Didn't someone already post this a not so long ago? Well, my last name is Broome and someone at school said "Yo, Broomie!" So I went along with it, now everyone at my school has forgotten my first name and they call me Broomie!
No, something like this was posted a while ago but it was brought back ("Where does your alias/psuedonym come from). Mine came from the fourth grade- My first name is ALEjandro, and I was smart (a BRAIN), put them together and you get Alebrain.
I used to write ideas for games, and put my games company as JoTek (Joshua Technologies), but when I got my Geocities account (or maybe hotmail) it was taken, so I got Joshtek.
Glad I did, because 99% of the sites I visit let me register the name, well 100% of the sites i've visited
Most people couldn't or were too lazy to pronounce my full name, so they just call me Muz. At least that's what most people I just meet online call me.
Worthless fact that has nothing to do with anything:
Muz also means banana in Turkish.
Some people use Muz as a short version of Music.
BTW, slightly off topic, why is that so many people have "Hi! I'm a signature virus. Copy me into your signature to help me spread." in their signatures ? Who started the sig virus thing?
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
My name is, well, Isaac. So there. Not much to say there, I suppose.
Mayhaps.

Assault Andy, let me think. I used it first when i played alot of online action games. One of the best was "infiltration" but now thats P2P. It just began with "a" - Assault, and it was perfect for action games/shoot em ups. Before that in mmorpgs and other i was "Groovy Andy" but that's kinda corny.
Yeah, Noodles is a great guitarist...i mean errr ummm...what are we talking about, oh right...wrong topic...
Ummm Muggus is ummm my real middle name, I swear I was born with it.
Otherwise there's no other explaination how I came up with an imaginary word...Although I advice you look up Muggus on Google, or a search engine, and see what you come up with besides pornographic material from my younger years.
MUGGUS
Come and annoy me more at
www.muggus69.tk STOUT ANGER!!!
My name is Ashley. Ash sounds better. I like to remind people I am a guy. A man as it were. Ashman.
I rest my case.

Well when I was new to the community, I called myself "Team Ultimate X" and everyone laughed at me. So I changed it to Circlesoft. Still everyone laughed at me, and one guy called me Circy. I got annoyed at him and asked him to call me Circlesoft. But everyone caught on, and Circy is here today
Well, I like RPGs and RTSs, but by the time I came out with this name I was playing more RPGs than RTSs, so now I am RPG Player 2003! (the first time I came out I was RPG Player 2002, I just upgraded my name)
I made mine up in 7th grade while I was randomly mashing buttons on the keyboard in keyboarding 101 (ugg). And the name Shabadage has always worked wherever I have registered it, so I just keep it around.

there's a funny story behing my DC name. its something to do with me being born, but i cant remember exactly.
as for the signature virus, i think that it was shen. i saw it on his sig and swore to myself then that i wouldn't swoop to such pathetic, childish, immauture behaviour as to copy it into my sig.
Klik & Play + The Games Factory = The Klik Factory
I have a theory that some ppl are mean to me because my name is so impersonal (companyish). Just look at the comments I've gotten in my latest download. =/
In other communities my SN is JohnnySmash because it's a cool flashy name. People seem to be a lot nicer there too. Coincidence?
Before that I used J.J.Shmidt- which is of course John Jacob Jingleheimer Shmidt. The third 'J' I consider his middle name and thus was not included. Much like if you were to abbreviate "Drew Carey" you would do it as "D.Carey" not "D.Y.Carey" if his middle name started with a Y. I thought up that explanation AFTER I made the name though since people kept asking me.
Before that I used JackTK, which was an abbrevation of the name I used before that- JackTekaik. A girl wanted me to make up a character to role play with in some Final Fantasy chat room, and that's what I came up with.
Before that I used Brett3, because my name is Brett and my favorite # was 3. Recently my SN has been suspended from AIM because AOL finally enforced it's policy that former AOL members can't use their old AOL SNs for AIM. If that makes sense...
Oh and I also use Grenadier as my nick for several games where JohnnySmash doesn't seem appropriate. Why? Grenades are cool!

Why's there a star next to the Sig? What if I don't want a sig? This sucks.
Thanks Joe ! Like I don't get enough of that at school!

A loonnggg time ago, I loged on to the internet for the first time. "Welcome! You got mail!" said the hideous voice of AOL! Already completly frustrated with AOL, having been hacked after a week of use, I decided to get a hotmail account. Being a little youngster as I was, I was into alot of ninjas, 007, martial arts, runnin around acting like I was fighting stuff. Anyway, you may guess what my first name is, but I liked the word, Con-artist, so I mixed my name and the word CON. Therfor: Rycon I have never changed my alias, exept I have a alternate incase Rycon is taken (Very Very rare that it is) so its been about 8 to 9 years of being me. Rycon. (Ry-Con)
We are the music makers, we are the dreamers of dreams...
Well, I decided to change my name to RapidFlash. It just sounds cool (unlike alebrain). As for how I came up with it: I don't know. It just popped up in my head.
Mine is NOT my real name!! Although some strange people call me "Funky"...
It's a random phrase I picked up 3 years ago from a game we played on a summer camp in england. Someone thought it would make a good email address, and it temporarily became fashionable, but now it is just me, so I use it. So there we have it, the strange story of FunkySeaweed.
I have a website!
http://www.funkyseaweed.tk btw its not about games at the moment, but visit it if you want to...
