Has anyone noticed the download section has changed and something called "votes" has been added?

Thanks JD  Yeah, there was quite a long downtime yesterday because I needed to add a new section to the database; 35mb on an overseas FTP is extremely slow to download from, let alone upload

well its a better system now, but its a nightmare for the ten people who were in the top 10 list, nobody will download their games again and vote for it.

I dont think so, lots of people would probably only vote for games that they knew were good or just coz they like the person who made the game not because they have downloded it and voted for it due to its qualities.

But in any event, all the admins have had about a million requests for something like this.
I've learnt through experience you can never make everyone happy. If you dont want to pay attention to the new feature, then you dont have to, just download whatever games you want.

Hehe. Hmmm I might be able to get used to it, it is just a shame that some games were downloaded over 500 times and they will probably never be downloaded again giving no reason to vote thumbs up!

sorry for my bad comment SC, I was just a bit frustrated cuz my game was on the 4th place in the top 10, but this is better, people cant cheat now anymore
