Uh yes, I was wondering if their was a way to put text on a website, then have your program take that text and put it into a text box. See this is very important to me cause I don't really want to have to use internet plugins(but I will if I have to.)
What Im trying to do is make it so you can download Text into your application. It could then be displayed of course! I also would like to see a programmed Forum. It would be 10X faster than any forum on the net because you wouldn't need to Re-download the tables and stuff. I think it would be really cool if you could gather text and put it in strings. Heres a few ideas to get me started.
-A Forum program w/ chat (Very quick community kinda dealy)-
-A User Built Information Database(For example; cheats for video games could be built by users, or information on musical artists...ect.)-
-It would make it easier to create updates for games and stuff-
-It would be easy to change information in a program. For Example, you could concievably change the name of a button called "Demo" into "Play". In the events editor you would test if it said play. This would then allow a person access to the full extent of a game. This might be useful if you sell games(the user would get a password, be able to update, and then play). Ok it's a stretch, but it is quite useful.-
-It could allow for timely content in games. For example, If it were thursday, the content on the web would say so, and it would test for that. If it was thursday something would happen...like the program would close(So you wouldn't be able to play on thursdays)! This is better than testing on a computer, because you can always change your clock, but you can't change whats on the web.-

As you can see, the possibilities are limitless! So if someone knows how to do this, tell me. IF no one does, somone needs to make an extensoin!
