I completely forgot what I just read, but I agree anyway. Tell ShadowCaster to add a massive red flashing arrow pointing towards the Boards link to discourage people.
Gah, I'm sick of this. How many times do I have to tell you people, if you don't like an article, then don't read it. It goes by the same concept as if you don't like a game, then don't download it, or if you don't like a site then don't go to it.
It's not like you're getting paid to read or review an article or anything. It's not like the article is wasting too many valuable minutes of your life. It's not even that the article is knocking anything important off. Nobody really wants to read a good article. People just read what has a nice title and what goes against their beliefs. Take a look at my good articles and see how many people actually read them. It's like the news: People don't wanna know about progress and prosperity, they just like watching the news about wars and crime.
Yes, maybe some of you geeks (no offense intended) look at the good, informative articles, but chances are, you missed some of the best simply because the topic wasn't interesting enough. I urge you to click the "Articles" link up there and see what quality material you've actually missed out.
The informative articles like that one about custom weapon selection systems and using the array object were pretty much ignored. And they were on the Latest 10 list since last Monday, which is a very, very long time in internet terms. So no, the bad articles hardly ever really push the good ones off the list, unlike what some of you guys said.
Besides, what I think every article should have is...
a) A statement/message that DOES NOT need a response
b) An informative piece of work that could benefit anyone at all
So please, just stop with the complaints already. If some some rambling idiot out there just... rambles, ignore him/her. Just enjoy yourself at the DC. We're here to have fun.
BTW, this might be a good time to bring up my idea again of having a FAQ section or an Article Zone to recognize the GOOD articles. It will cause less people to repeat themselves in their articles, cause less problems when it comes to asking for help, and actually inspire people to make quality articles. Isn't that what you all want? See my other post, "What I think the DC should put in..." for more details on that and other good ideas that the master admins have been ignoring.

I think articles should be categorised like in the downloads section. Category for tutorials, category for daily click related, etc. Just a suggestion.
Hmmm, Muz does have a point, tutorial articles are ignored pretty much. Many people would rather complain about the community then actually talk about how to use Multimedia Fusion and The Games Factory. Many people would also rather complain about articles that complain about the community then actually talk about klicking. The best way to improve the quality of articles is to stop posting comments in bad articles and post more comments in good, informative articles. People would stop posting so many articles about the community if they were ignored.
Well, I, as one of the creators of the articles above, think this:-
-Yes there should be catagorized article ranges
-No you may post whatever you want on the articles on the condition that it is about the article, that you have read the article completely and give a complaint
in a proper manner. Stop swearing your heads off!
-Yes, there should be a DC magazine, but half the people from TDC are from other countries eg. I'm in Australia, and the transport of them there would be heaps, plus there aren't really enough Daily Clicker's to actually be able to have a magazine.
-No, the articles should not be deleted, Muz had a good point before, read a little, if your interested in reading the rest, then read, if you hate what you;ve read so far, then exit. Donnot post any comment without reading it as you may have missed reading the factual and interesting, good bits.
So please! Stop going crazy, I and the other person who wrote that article only meant for the best. Yet a war started basically, keep your thoughts to yourself!
Um... I think they meant magazine in the sense of online magazines, not an actual published one .

LOL! Yeah they did mean online. There is Klik Disk, and that other one. Yeah!
I think that articles should be categorized, too.
Articles can be a lot of different things. But what I like to read, I think I like the same stuff as SircatmaN
And about the magazine: Maybe it could be a 'printer friendly' online magazine that you can print out and read on your way to school/work and such. I would help contribute a little to the magazine.
Um... JonWoG, in case you haven't noticed, people post an average of about one article every 2 days. I mean I've seen times when 4 were posted a day, but that's very rare. I hardly think that the crap articles are knocking off the others... unless you go online once a month or so.

Hmm... try begging to someone who has FTP access about the categorizing thing... you know, like ShadowCaster, Rikus, or Clubsoft. Or maybe even Andi but I dunno if he counts.
