this is weird. the file size of the game file is still 6mb, and if i use the Open File dialogue in MMF the status bar at the bottom fills up, indicating it has loaded. but the screen remains grey and no windows load. this happens only with the one game. the only major thing i've done to it is add the date and time object, although god knows why this would do anything.
its driving me mad coz the file exists, it just wont blody open! grrr.
its MMF1.5 build 113, windows xp. ta.

Do you have the Project Explorer displaying? If you dont have that displaying, and you closed all the windows before saving, then just add it back via the menu.
Otherwise, I dont know what the problem might be. Do you want me to try and open it and see if it makes a difference?

It might work BTW, since my MMF has a bug where it rearranges itself every time MMF opens, closing all the extra windows, and changing their positions to the default ones.(Gets annoying since I have to rearrange it every time I open a project...)

My suggestion would be the same as SC. Sometimes when i open open-source games, the project explorer isn't there, then when i close all the windows it sits there burning my memory until i close mmf 100% then it will ask me to save something i can't see.

when it's finished doing its loading sequence, MMF goes back to like it is before anything is loaded, so pretty much everything is greyed out in the menu. and i cant open the project explorer.
i've uploaded the file and sent the link to shadow and kramy, thanks for offering.
