How can you make frames transparent? I'm sure theres a way.
Because I couldn't find a way a use the screen capture object and a pictur object but the screen capture object never saved the file and it didn't work.
Does anyone know a way to get the affect of a transparent window or even make it transparent?

Make the window transparent?
If you mean hide the window completely, you can use the Window Control Object.
If you want to make only part of the window invisible, you can use the Window Shape Object.

What I want is a transparent window to see through to the desktop. And in the window I can put objects that appear as if they're on the desktop without having any solid colour around them

You could have no heading and no thick frame then have it grab desktop at the beginning of the frame.

How do you 'grab' the desktop at the start.
I've tried using the screen capture onject but it doesn't work

In TGF you tick the "grab desktop at start" level setup checkbox.
In MMF though it doesn't work for some reason, so no idea.(Though this may just be for me, so you should try it anyways)

It works perfectly for me in MMF
Right Click on Frame → Properties → Frame → Grab Desktop At Start

Works fine for me too.
Kramy - Another way to fix your prob is to use the screen capture object, then save it as temp.bmp then load it with the active picture object.

Thanks. I think I'll mess around with the colour settings...maybe it isn't picking up the desktop because of the picture on it... *shrugs*
Thanks anyway.
