Soz, bout the bad writing, but you get the general idea.
I'm not saying you have to follow the good/bad expert thing 100% of the time, but remember: Constructive Critisism. I do admit to flaming once in a while, you can't be expected to not get annoyed some times.
well we can clearly see that flaming is a dead end..

this place sucks but don't tell anyone, it's our little secret, ok?
"Say you're hanging from a huge cliff at the top of mt. everest and a guy comes along and says he'll save you, and proceeds to throw religious pamphlets at you while simultaniously giving a sermon." - Dustin G
If flaming is a dead end, why doesn't it stop on tdc?
Because it's a circle and if you're flaming you're
not an expert, otherwise you would have used a constructive criticism.

Hmm...I was a different type of newbie. I made crappy games, never realeased them, and then improved them. Eventually I started making good games, but I haven't released any on TDC.
i posted my first game last year so you can get good pretty quickly because tops 3 is a massive leap from buzz the squirrel
although bts is actually pretty good fun anyway
well when the first clickteam easy 3D making game comes out you can have the newbie days again with that. Jamagic is 3d right? but thats suppose to be hard
I'd say that's more of a square or a rectangle than a circle...
Anyway...I'm with Shadow on this one. Being a clicker since KNP's release in 1994 I joined the internet community in 2001 with my own style, skills, experience, and without assistance for 7 years.
I think that's what makes a better, less annoying Clicker. Some with experience, and by experience I mean going out on your own and making it without the assistance of others with your own inspiration. At least 5 years of making it your own way is how you become shaped into a knowledgable Clicker, or anything else for that matter...with the right tools and situation, 5 years can shape your own style so well.
...Now I only have 3 1/2 years of teaching guitar myself guitar until I become like that!

erm yes, i hadnt even heard of clickteam when i got tgf i dont think their name is even mentioned on the box so i was a newbie on my own for a while ( i still have no idea how i found out about the community :S)
Twas brillig, and the slivey toves

All mimsy were the borogroves,
And the momewraths outgrabe.
well... 2 years with the TGF demo and no clue of the community whatsoever.. that means trying the hell out of every little feature

Show me the power child,
I'd like to say,
That I'm down on my knees today,
Gives me the butterflies,
Gives me away,
'Til I'm up on my feet again,
I'm feeling outshined.
If I could, I'd go back to my KNP days. I sucked, and I loved it. Now I suck, but I know it. So it ain't so fun.
They were fun. Nothing had to be perfect, just fun to make.

Jon - I'd agree with you, sheepdash was an inspiration to me. And you're a friendly kind of guy.
I started with KnP aswell, although i signed onto this site a while back i didn't really do much. Later on i got mmf and a few months later i posted more. Since i had been clicking for a while, i wasn't really a noob coding wise but i was probabley damn annoying - I asked some stupid questions and did a few nooby things.
