I see plaformers, racers, wannabe rpg's - but has anyone come up with something really different, like a foot ball game spliced with rythym action, a plaformer where you have to drag a big rock the whole adventure - something really fresh and unusual - take Mario Sunshine, its a platformer, but give mario one new toy, and the game asks you to think about solutions differently - it no longer remains a simple plaform to platform game - any takers???
i have planed something original, never done b4. But im working on a another game, my platformer. Its called "Click The Beat" its like a dancing stage euromix game but this time with a keyboard not a dancing mat (Keys shown on screen then click it to score points)
So if anyone wahts to do this idea you can do, just let me in special thanks in credit

My most original idea was probabley my stick figure animation shop where you can create you own stick figure animations, but that's postponed because i'm developing a mmorpg.
I think you can call Seal Boy original, I know no ofter games with a guy with a seal's head. Plus, I'm adding lots of wried things you do (like in Level 5 you defuse a bomb)
sounds cool. Chronowarrior is original but thats abandon now. Scope is kinda original, but i will have a lot of good graphics and gameplay (see preview)
However i am still working on hhxl,
i already have planned a new episode.
In a different style, completly differnt gameplay
it is, nothing like u have seen before!
im waiting for that as well (completed beta)
if the beta how about 16 levels, how many levels in full game?
Is any Fishhead charaters (incept Highhair/hooghaar and Fishhead) in it?
I can sure say we haven't had a platformer with a character that flies and latches onto walls for almost a decade! Gargoyle's Quest 2 and Demon's Crest are good examples of this.
I haven't seen much Contra-varied style action either... (from platformer to over-the-back 3rd person shooter)
Unlike most games, you see the player from the side, and they can move left or right. They can jump up onto things I call 'platforms', and they contain ingenious and unusual additions like spikes, springs, etc.
Heh. And I've christened it: The Platform Engine
