hi; me again; your resident "complainer" (or so i'm told).

i'm going to compile an article about the space that ISPs give you (inspired by Jenswa). obviously doing it myself would be a waste of time even for me, so can you make my life slightly easier by replying to this with:

- Your ISP's name and package you are on
- The space they give you
- The bandwidth with the space

this way, we can hopefully make people aware of their own space and stop them using geoshitties and the like. thanks.

i'll start off:

- BT Openworld Anytime
- 50 MB
- Unlimited

Telus.net (Canada only) ADSL
10mb webspace
5gb bandwidth

Connection Speed:
http://www.dslreports.com/speedtests/1287900;523560;87699cc1199904cf40bf4e1edb922f66;2.0;www.dslreports.com/1062269765
(The grey bit represents the maximum speed possible, and the red bit the actual speed when the test was taken)

Price: 6 months free, then 24.99 canadian/month($18 american/month) and soon 34.99 canadian/month, after the first year.

They have faster connections available that are around $150/month canadian and run about 3x as fast.

I feel sorry for people who pay ~$500/month for T1.

Right now, I'm paying $29.99(US) a month for Cox Highspeed and, according to www.bandwidthplace.com, have a download speed of 3.1 megabits per second. That number is a little low though, since I've added up all of my simultanious downloads before and come up with speeds closer to 4 megabits. Not bad for only $10 more than 56k if you ask me.
