For some of the newer DC memebers this may be helpful to know DC's past, for older memebers like me it would really help bring up some nice memerys! If you want, you can post replys about some times you thought where inportent at DC so we can all laugh at the past & see how strong DC really is for it to still be up after so much its been through! Anyway, I would still like to thank Rikus for giving clickers suck a great home & thank everyone here for making it so strong!!
Anyone remember when DC had to move to another server because of money problems? Boy what I time that was, that was the time no one ended up comming, no one knew the new address! When the address was changed back, things picked up & DC was still standing strong!
Remember the time Rikus had left us? The news post was filled with NOTHING but them sad faces. But he's back again & now there is nothing but smileys!
Can anyone count how many admins we gained & lost? I can think of 1 right off the bat, but I can't remember his SN.
Rememeber the big hack? DC changed very much! Everyone was kicked out of there names & the ones who didn't know there passwords couldn't get back in! We lost many people then, ShadowCaster was deleted! LOL I still laugh at that because we all know he is back on & everything is alright again. But then again, we lost the "Today On Daily Click" & it was replaced by a new post box with the lastest stuff from 2 or more days ago. I really liked the "Today On Daily Click" thing know. I would always get on at 12:00 & submit stuff so it would be on the box the rest of the next day.
When ever did the Time Line stopped getting updated & then was lost?
Remember the very first DC compo? Atleast I think it was the first in 2002 I think it was. Thats what go me to DC, I saw it in a banner. I think it was October because I remember the banner having a pumpkin on it. Boy what a fuss that was... I lost no serprise, I was knew at clicking then.
Remember the big old yellow to blue change? That was a very nice change for DC. If you don't remember, the next time you go to submit a reply to something in boards, take a look at the board review box, its still & yellow. I think the Rikus/Shadow forgot to change that.
Don't forget how many DC background we do through! I don't know, but I think Rikus & Shadow found one they like! I think.
Who remembers DC's second birthday? We had a new banner for mounths on end. THANKS for summer we got a nice little palm tree now .
Anyone notice when the "Buy TDC Merchandise" link appeared in the "My Daily Click" box to the left? They started selling shirts, mouse pads, mugs, & a teddy bair my mom fell in love with! (The picture. )
Who remembers the mini compo shadow had, to get us a new News poster. If it wasn't for that, we would have Akiu. I worked SO hard at that & yet I forgot to submit my entry. Stupid me.
Now just a little preview of the future.
I will be an admin, & the little palm tree at the top lefthand corner of the page will burn down so we can all see the rest of the 'T' in "The".
As I have said, DC has gone through ALOT & is the strongest click site, wait no, any site!

I remember about half of what you said because I left between September and December, then I was intermittent for a while.
Oh, I forgot all about the timeline, but the last time I checked it hadn't been updated for a while... now it isn't even here! Anyone know where it went or if it will ever come back?
As for the yellow/blue changeover... surely you would've thought they used stylesheets? I quite liked the old yellow look - much brighter, and it's my second favourite colour
i remember finding dc and not saving the link so when i came to submit my game (Buzz the squirrel anyone?) i couldnt find it again for about 3 months because i forgot the name too.
and when i finally did submit it rikus kept asking me to resubmit about 5 times until people got annoyed so i took it of.
shortly after i made tops the pig.
I remember finding this place (1st TDC, I believe) trying to find Gunner 3 because Gunner 2 was "so cool". I remember writing reviews when you didn't have to be a member to comment (and write reviews) on downloads. I remember the one day Gaming World Host and linking a file to my computer. Ahhh, those were the days.
Whenever I think of the phrase "blast to the past" I think of someone farting loudly, then jumping back in time to just before he farts, and then the fart hits him clean in the face
P.S - Clubsoft always makes me think of drunken teenagers in Faliraki flashing there boobs and whatnot. Then again, I think about that most of the time.
