TGF (and K&P, I believe?) were on sale in... '94 and '95, published by Europress. Later, Xplosiv took TGF and sold it under their own label, but Clickteam didn't have any say in the matter.
The Game Maker magzine does have a copy of TGF Pro (completely free!), and demos of all the other Clickteam products.
i want mmf 1.5
but i dont have a credit card and my parents dont want to buy online (for fear of crdeit card number being given away to others)
its a shame its not more widely available
I just got the latest version of MMF Pro and now theres another 1 on the way? From what i've heard I'm not interested, how could it be better when It's alot cheaper and has the TGF name built into it.
My Brother got the Gamers Maker mag, It does have the full version of TGF pro on it, but I paid for that ages ago.
Oh shazbag. I kinda think it's cool being part of the Click underground scene. When it goes mainstream I'm gonna become a goth and repent all other trends.
I can't help laughing to myself when I hear people say they love to Click but think that MMF 2 is going to be something that they can just live without. Have you seen any convention footage?
Then, I love the confusion about the new interface. I won't be like TGF, it will be better than both MMF 1.x and TGF, it seems. From what I gather, it won't be as restrictive, limiting, and Win 3.1 as TGF is, and it won't be all over the place like MMF 1.x has been. The properties-style sheets are going to make everything wizz-bang fast and easy.
But wait! You are ready to stick with TGF 32-bit? What? MMF 2 is just going to be an interface update? I doubt it. Don't sweat those pennies so hard, your skin will turn green. I guess its good that Clickteam does not really on the skinflints and pirates or there would never be another MMF. I figure that those people who are already ready not to spend any bucks are going to change that tune. I can't imangine why MMF 2 won't be as amazing as KNP was when it first came out. I already see a lot of cool stuff to look forward to from what I have read and seen. I actually believe that Clickteam MEANS 2.0 when they say it.
