Well, I get this problem when a transparent or [Always bring to front] object is nearby another object that is being pasted into the background in MMF.

In TGF, this sometimes happens with active objects near a scrolling edge, if they overlap an object that does not follow playfield.

I don't know what causes either of these. I'd say try changing the transparancy in another event, not at the same time you're destroying something.

Seems to be a big bug in MMF huh? The prob is to do with transparency. Instead of "alt a = 100" try "trans = 100"

it happens in most of my games when destroying objects. I don't think there is a way to stop it happening in my case.

I've had similar problems. Try moving the object off screen before it is destroyed, it's messy but it's worked for me.

hmmm, this fragments can also happen when "destroy object if too far from frame" and "inactivate if object is too far from window" is activated in the objects properties/scrolling ...
unfortunately it is ticked by default.

i had this fragement thing before ,turned those two things off,and everything is working now

I have the same prob, but its not when destryong objects, Instead of destroying the baddie in one of my games, I set his position to a dif place. But fragments of the object still remain, I've tried everything to get round this problem, but nothing helps. In the end I just had to accept it.

Does it overlap an object using a transition to dissapear, or an object stamoing itself into the background?
