I have one.. its the result of using the mouse several hours a day. The area below my wrist suffers a lot of friction during the day, making it harder.. maybe as hard as the base of my foot. That area below my wrist is kind of red..or dark orange.. and it has lost the sense of touch.

It isn't quite as bad as that in my case - though I did get shiny wrists a while ago from playing Doom too much.

I get different wrist injuries. It's more like repetitive strain.

I know what you mean... perhaps 2 hours per day of using the mouse followed by a hard masturbation session almost nightly... I can definately feel it taking its toll.

As the saying goes: "A wank a day keeps the RSI at bay." Though that's not why I do it, I have a trackball and my wrist rests on the handy wrist-rest.

I've been using a computer (and mouse) for 10 years, and I've not had anything like that. Dogzer, you might be confusing the mouse with a toaster. It's an easy mistake to make, I can tell you.

I got ankle tapped by my mate when playing a game of football (soccer) and fucked up my wrist earlier this year. Sure, it resulted with a pickup the night afterwards, but my wrist has never been the same...i'm no longer the mouse wizz I use to be...

Not to mention the fact that hold a stein full of beer is quite difficult!...but it don't stop me......*sips beer*

I've been using computers since I was 2, back in the era when everything used boot disks. And strangely enough, I haven't developed any physical problems from my heavy computer use, except maybe being a little underweight from all my pacing and being "too lazy to eat".
