i think these people were probably as pissed as a fart when protesting.
If they wanted to be rid of him they only had to walk away, its not as though the man was going to follow.
Uh, its an endurance test. Many people have done much crazier things than that. Just read the Guinness Book of World Records. I mean really, those people who protested must have been bored. I could never figure out why they were protesting in the first place.
