Hello. I'm working on a game, Sonic Storm, which IS NOT A SONIC FAN GAME! It has NOTHING to do with that abominable hedgehog! Anyway, it's an odd game, where you fight with a guitar. Think FLCL. If you don't know what that is, just imagine beating the crap out of somebody with a guitar. There you go!
This game is going to use a art style rather like Seiken Densetsu 3, although I obviously am not even hoping for such amazing quality. Also, it plays a bit like the aforementioned SD3, or perhaps Secret of Mana, or Terranigma. Maybe a combination of the three. Finally, go to my website, which at the time is almost devoid of content, and download the (mockup-ish) instruction manual to get some more details. If you are interested, please e-mail me at

killerjedi2k@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance to anybody who wants to check this project out, and one final note...

I may be a rookie member, but it's because I've hidden away for three years, practicing my skills until I felt worthy of the DC. So don't worry about my coding abilities, I'd say (and my peers will hopefully agree with me once they see some of my stuff) that they are definetly adequate, even for a project of this calibur.

EDIT: Damnit! My site URL isn't in the message. Sorry! Here it is: http://www.geocities.com/thylordobsidion/Home.html

won't you look up at the skyline
at the mortar, block, and glass
and check out the reflections in my eyes?
you see they always used to be there
even when this all was grass
and I sang and danced about a high-rise

Sounds good. You don't need any skill to become part of dc . I would help with art, but I'm really busy.

actually, i'm thinking more Fishead 4. although i don't think fishead plans to have the guitar used as a bludgeon.

There aren't enough games where you get to beat people with guitars. I'm pretty sure there aren't any games where you get to beat people with phones. I'm a big fan of beating with phones. Have you ever seen Casino? Joe Pesci's all about beating this one dude with a phone.

I've been toying with the idea of making a game that revolves around guitars as a weapon. It'd be more of a side-scroller tho. Anyway, my art skills aren't really up to a level where I can offer any assistance with your project, but I do wish you luck with it.

Thanks for your comments guys! By the way, Fire, if you were serious,
email me with an example of your graphical work. In fact, if anybody
happens to want to do the graphics, email me with an example. Try to
keep it under 200kb if you do, though. Hotmail is stingy with storage.
Thanks again for all of your comments, guys! Oh, and sorry about not
replying for so long... I've been busy with *ahem* stuff lately.
