I do media/studio arts at my school and I am making my second film. They only go for about 10mins but that's what year 11 is all about.
Anyway, the program I use (iMovie) remindes me of making games. Being stuck in front of a screen having an awesome time and not wanting to leave. It's real easy, you film your footage with friend actors and then import it all onto the computer where the editing takes place.
Everything about making a movie is fun, do Studio Arts. (Apart from the space it takes up on you PC)
If you have made small films before (or anying along this line, ie: video clips) please tell us what you think. Or if you are just interested.
Well, a friend and I made a movie starring two lego guys (It was a lego stop-motion picture movie thingy program... no idea what it's called.) on skateboards that get caught in an earthquake, have a fistfight, then drive away and get eaten by a dinosaur. X) Man that was a blast.. what i wouldent give to get that program.. (it was his)
Yeah, I'm doing media at college at the moment, we haven't gotten onto editing yet, but we are in a couple of weeks apparently. As soon as I get a firewire card for my PC, me and my mates are gonna make a film.
I´m working on a second movie (not SW related) which should run about an hour or so and think about making a second SW fan film, completely shot on a greenscreen. This kinda is my new hobby and kept me from making games for quite some time now... *sigh*
Well, me, my brother and my friend once tried to make some Lego Star Wars movie, and it ended with a mobile phone flying through space, it was really stupid.
