Umm.. I'm not sure if this right board to post this but...
Is it legal to use resource hacker to my own games? (I use MMF Pro) I want to hack those stupid MMF pause and control change windows to my own language.
"If Darl McBride was in charge, he'd probably make marriage unconstitutional too, since clearly it de-emphasizes the commercial nature of normal human interaction, and probably is a major impediment to the commercial growth of prostitution."

(Darl McBride is CEO of The SCO Group)
this place sucks but don't tell anyone, it's our little secret, ok?
it's (probably) only stuff that infringes copyright laws (like trying to change author information) that they care about
"Say you're hanging from a huge cliff at the top of mt. everest and a guy comes along and says he'll save you, and proceeds to throw religious pamphlets at you while simultaniously giving a sermon." - Dustin G
MMF Pro, it depends-You are legally allowed to change some things (like develeper name).I think it is illegal to hack the pause things away, but I also think someone asked this and clickteam said that it is against the runtime agreement but they don't mind if it's something like that.
Yeah, the clickteam EULA says you can't perform any kind of decompilation or reverse engineering, the standard fare. But I'm sure they don't care too much, you'd be safe to do it.

Are you using "Resource Hacker"? Because that program is awsome, you can change all the pauses and things to new menus.
Yes, it's illegal. I shouldn't think they would mind unless you changed anything else (copyright info etc.) but it's still illegal, and shouldn't be done. Or at least, you shoudn't tell everyone you did it
"Next question: How about hacking the .gam file (like TGF Toolkit does)?"
The GAM file is only covered by author copyright.
