Umm.. I'm not sure if this right board to post this but...

Is it legal to use resource hacker to my own games? (I use MMF Pro) I want to hack those stupid MMF pause and control change windows to my own language.

I think it is illegal. In most software agreements it says you are not allowed to modify the program.

it's (probably) only stuff that infringes copyright laws (like trying to change author information) that they care about

I think you could get in trouble if you RELEASED a resource hacked game, but I don't know, read the license agreement

Next question: How about hacking the .gam file (like TGF Toolkit does)?

MMF Pro, it depends-You are legally allowed to change some things (like develeper name).I think it is illegal to hack the pause things away, but I also think someone asked this and clickteam said that it is against the runtime agreement but they don't mind if it's something like that.

Yeah, the clickteam EULA says you can't perform any kind of decompilation or reverse engineering, the standard fare. But I'm sure they don't care too much, you'd be safe to do it.

Are you using "Resource Hacker"? Because that program is awsome, you can change all the pauses and things to new menus.

Yep, i'm using resource hacker. I also tried "resource explorer", but it didn't work because of missing dll.

Yes, it's illegal. I shouldn't think they would mind unless you changed anything else (copyright info etc.) but it's still illegal, and shouldn't be done. Or at least, you shoudn't tell everyone you did it

"Next question: How about hacking the .gam file (like TGF Toolkit does)?"
The GAM file is only covered by author copyright.

TGF toolkit is a good thing, as it will result in more people getting MMF. Currently, not a single person besides Clickteam has ever gotten at an MMF source, because it is much more secure than TGF.
