Greetings People.

I think would be very helpful to know for everybody who's making a game the PC average of the Community.

Specify your processor, Mhz's and possibly the Video Card.

Any other comment about this topic will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I'd say the average would be a Pentium III, around 833 Mhz, like mine. A few lucky people might have a Geforce or better, but it doesn't really matter for a click game. Personally, I'll probably get a 2 Ghz Pentium IV with a 128 MB 3D card or something by the end of next year.

Oh and a few unlucky people are still using a Pentium I, so you might wanna think about them too.

Sure Thing:

P1 users have my sincere condoliances.

About me, I have a 2.60 mhz p4 geforce4 goddamn good, but I prefer to work on games with a p3 1000 mhz, to keep and test the middle average.
I think to be enough right, so far.

*all this information off the sticker on my hard drive*

850 Mhz AMD Duron TM
64 MB SDRam
300GB Ultra DMA hard drive
Integrated S3 ProSavage4 3D AGP Graphics
Up to 16MB shared video memory
TV out

I dunno what it all means, but I think it all adds up to a pretty poo PC.

PIII 833 MHz, and a GeForce 4 4600, which I guess is totally pointless. > I neglected to realize that I'd need to get a new mobo and power supply for a P4, so I haven't gotten around to it yet.

My computer was the shit three years ago. Oh well, it's still chugging along, and it still manages to run the original UT at rediculous resolutions, but like AndyUK, not UT2003 very well.

AMD Athlon 1gHz
Geforce 2mx 32mb
512mb RAM
20gb Hard Drive, that's nowhere near big enough for anything I do.
