"If Darl McBride was in charge, he'd probably make marriage unconstitutional too, since clearly it de-emphasizes the commercial nature of normal human interaction, and probably is a major impediment to the commercial growth of prostitution."

this place sucks but don't tell anyone, it's our little secret, ok?
if its an RPG then sub-games are fun. especially final fantasy, where you can win items that can be used in the real game (that's what made that chocobo digging game in FF8 fun)
Blitzball in FFX sucks though...

I like the idea of nunchucks in games, and also the idea of penguins, so I've come to the conclusion that the best thing you can have in a game is Nunchuck wielding Penguins.
besides gameplay, and nonlinear, i think little things in games make it really shine. like grass moving a bit when you step on it, a ring bouncing a bit when it hits the ground, a little bit of rain before the acual storm. You know the little things
I am Many, I am one
I am Everthing,I am Nothing
I am All, I am None
If that's a bit too general, I'd say um... realism. Games could be so much better if people just add that little dose of realism. I don't mean anything annoying like being forced to eat every few minutes or 'relieving yourself'. It's the little things like not being able to create tanks out of pure money, scientifically explaining magic, bringing over research to the next level (instead of re-researching it in 2 minutes), etc. Real life can be more fun than fantasy, if you just put a little effort into it.
BTW, people don't really notice the little special effects things, but when they do, it does make a difference. Sadly, the little special effects, like in Neverwinter Nights, often doesn't cover up major flaws like the overall graphics and game speed.

I like the way you think AsparagusTrevor... But there is a slight problem. Penguins only have stupid flipper things making it impossible to hold the nunchucks. But dont worry. Robots are cool right? lets give this penguin like huge robotic arms: http://www.hereticemu.com/buster/penguin.gif
edit: freaking stupid image tag crappy code shit didn't work... so you'll just have to click the link....
LOL. That penguin's the funniest thing I've seen in weeks.

Show me the power child,
I'd like to say,
That I'm down on my knees today,
Gives me the butterflies,
Gives me away,
'Til I'm up on my feet again,
I'm feeling outshined.
I think it's important for games to have unlockable features/character/vehicles/weapons/levels/whatever. If you reward the player for something they'll want to keep playing to get more.
Why's there a star next to the Sig? What if I don't want a sig? This sucks.
Hard to describe, even harder to pull off well. Most of the best games ever made have superior depth in their gameplay, storyline and in the games general presentation. I won't go into specifics, but basically depth is what seperates some random game from an a gaming experience that you will remember for the rest of your life and you felt like you were part of it. And when you finish playing the game, you feel so good inside, yet not you've lost a part of you.
I don't think there are Klik games around that can deliver serious depth, not yet anyway.

Things I would take to be best in a game is for it to have a multiplayer feature & if in anyway posable an online multiplayer feature so I can kick everyones butt in it, Not that I could though.
Guitar solos...nothing is fully complete with a ripper of a guitar solo in there somewhere...I mean you know, when you making love with Metallica's music playing in the background, you just can't help but burst into an air guitar solo...even if it does cost you a decent root...cause after all, that's the meaning of life right there innit!
