Sorry, I've done this twice, and only a choice few people have got me to make them music. Even they have had to wait several days before I'd do it. But hey, you get what you pay for, and all I ask for is feedback. Though I've had no complaints about the quality

So I'm back again. I've got all the spare time in the world, because I now have a job that is over before 3 O'clock every day, and no other responsibilities to anyone accept cleaning the floor once a week.

So tell me everything about your game, and I'll make music to suit. I like a challange, and the more detail the better your chances of me making a sound file for you. I may even download a game, and make a soundfile based on my view of it, though I believe that good music should be based on the directors view, which is why I like to hear detail coming from you. I may get around to making your music, but don't get your hopes to high. If all goes to plan, I'll be getting heaps of requests.

If anyone here is a fan of Seph's Thod games, I've done a lot of his music. Check the credits for my name.

Ok, Jon. I mailed you, but I'll post this so everyone can see my request. CMK is working on Mercury2. It's going to be similar to the first, but much better. One of the goals I have this time is to have original music. I used all original music for my game Liberation, but it didn't turn out pretty.

To play the first Mercury you can go to either of these
http://www.create-games.com/download.asp?id=3739
(I'm renovating my site at the moment so it might not look great)
http://www.freewebs.com/amaranthcoda/

I guess the first step here is for you to write a sample to see if this is going to work out. My request is an upbeat rock and/or techno type song. Three to five minutes long or however long you can/want to make it. The tone of this game is kind of dark and solitary, but you're going to be blowing up a whole bunch of shit. Hope that helps.

I'm sorry, I have made the music, and I'll give you the URL as soon as I find some webspace. Right now I'm trying to convince my dad to let me borrow some.

Am I the only one that automatically thinks of the Donkey Kong 64 Monkey Rap whenever they see the title of this post...?

I'm back again and about time to, and I'm ready to make music for you...

Okay, it's all done. Sorry it's a little short. Though if you like I can double it. Anyway, usually I'd give my songs more variety, though variety goes against you in this case. You see, this is a shoot'em'up, and I haven't a clue when all the enemies come in. So if I give it fast bits, and slow bits, and upbeat bits, and downbeat bits, then it'll put off the player, unless I get it timed perfect with the bad guys. So all of it is fast, with the same feel, and the same instruments. Though to stop it from getting annoying, I messed around with the melody. I made sure that all the instruments sounded wierd, so it would sound like it was made in outer space. I think I did a good job.
http://pbchambers.customer.netspace.net.au/JonsFolder/Mercury2.mid
Jeremiah, I could make the music sync with your game if you tell me when everything comes in. If you give me a complete timetable of every element to come into the level, I can edit this song to fit.

Okay, everyone, tell me what you think, and post a request if you like. Don't DC mail me, unless there is something you don't want the general public to know about your game. In which case post all the other details.

I'm not very familiar with mexican music, but I'll research it if you let me play the mexican level of your game. I don't want to write music for something I don't know about, because then I get the blame when it doesn't fit. BTW people, I'll still make music for you if I havn't played the game, but you gotta describe the game to me really well.

Thankyou JonWoG it's good to see someone remembers me. Hey, I am cutting down on being repeditive. That's why I didn't like that last request. I had no option except being repeditive. If someone had a cutscene they wanted me to write for, I'd show you all how good I am.

BTW is there a way of getting rid or Ashman? What if we changed the "Thankyou for submitting your reply" message to "Thanks for replying, unless it was a crap reply".

Hey JD, that picture isn't working. Is this action game fast paced? Does it require any thinking? Is there any emotion attatched to the story? Is it comical?

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SUBMIT A CUTSCENE, OR SOME OTHER FUN GAME TO WRITE MUSIC FOR??? I don't know anything about mexican music. Okay if no other good requests come, I guess I'd better start researching.

Are you sure it's fast paced? I mean, if I were to play it slowly, or stand in the same spot for long amounts of time, would I be dead for sure? It doesn't look very fast paced, so it would be pointless adding fast paced music.

Okay, you know those things you said your game was ripping off? If you can find me a midi theme song for each of them, I'll merge them all together, to create a whole new theme song. Now I have no way of knowing where to find the midi files, and how to know if it's the same thing you're talking about once I've found them, so you do that, I'll do the rest.

Okay, well that may cause a few problems. Anyway, just find the midi, and let me look at it. I'll get rid of all the catchy bits, and add my own catchy bit. I'll add any element I feel is missing, and do anything else that feels like a cool idea a the time. I know nothing about mexican music, and I don't think that it would be a good idea if I studies mexican music for just one game I havn't even heard of.

C'mon, I need to work with a little more than that. Look for a midi file. My ear for music isn't as accurate as I'd like it to be. Or at least give me a file longer than that 30 second thing you found.

I dunno, that midi was done manually, which means it's very very difficult to work with. I reakon you'd be better off just using that midi for your game.

Ok...could you make new music for this cutscene from an adventure game I had started last year?

Also, I shall post some screen shots and discriptions of my "NEW" game.
Thank-you man!
Good luck!

Sorry, dude, the point of that scene is to rip off the comercial. Adding music to it would just make it lame. Just get a wav of "Whassup?" and play it when ever someone says "whassup".

Okay, I've got webspace, now post your requests here, and I may get around to it. Right now, I still gotta do a couple more requests, (don't think I've forgotten about you Kenley Browne, I've just gotten a bit pre-occupied.) If anyone else wants to compose music for someone requesting here, feel free to. You can even write music for requests I've already written for if you like.

OK, I have this game where you have to run around this city trying to screw as many girls as possible before the timer runs out. When the timer runs out you have to get married and it's game over. I was thinking along the lines of porno music? Maybe the Ron Jeremy theme would suit it? WHO KNOW!?!

Hmm, now that's sounds like a nice challange. Okay Rhys, you're definately on the list, (though all that really means is that the music will definately be done this year instead of next year.)

Hey if anyone sends me a game with no music, so I can make music for it, that would be great. Then I don't have to ask so many questions.

Okay Rhys, this timer, how much time has it got? I could make some music set to the timer, so that when it gets closer to the end, it picks up a little, and then at the end, it relaxes off completely.

Yeah, still, it's a cool challange, shame. Can someone else make that game so I can make music for it? Okay, I'm actually going to write some music now, and it wont be that sex game just yet. Sorry, I've been kinda busy making a game where me and Ashman duel. Okay, actually, I really havn't spent that much time on it, but I've gotten to a bug, and I'm gonna do some music, so I can check out this bug with a fresh mind.
For once, my bug isn't a communication error between me and the computer. The bug is me not knowing what's best for the game. This makes me feel special.
