This is a personal opinion.
I think TDC is overfilled with bad and "neverfinished" demo versions. I think it shall be done illegale to submit demos to the TDC. The game collection at TDC will be GREATLY improved if betas & demos where done illegale to submit.
But that's not the point of the Daily Click. The point is that ANYONE can post there stuff here, and people are supposed to hlep them out with comments and such. That's what supposed to happen anyway..
Demos are a way for people to show the early stages of their game off, so why whould they be illegal?
I understand if 50 of one game are submitted, but other than that i dont see any reason.
An old account of mine, recently cleared out. It's a blast to the past, the age was marked as 14 when I found it. If you know where to look, you can track me. Au revoir.
I think that genre section isn't set up very good. "Demo, Engine" and so on are not genres, "action, rpg, strategy" and so on are.... i think this section should be completely revamped.....what if users have the ability to choose from 2 drop down menus for their games. 1 menu would hold words like "action, platform" and all that, and the other would hold stuff like "full, demo" etc. ...then the download section could be like this:

Oh yeah I agree... someone posts a demo the feds should have them copping the "You have the right" speech within minutes...
Show me the power child,
I'd like to say,
That I'm down on my knees today,
Gives me the butterflies,
Gives me away,
'Til I'm up on my feet again,
I'm feeling outshined.
I was talking along the lines of having a demo section on the right sidebar. So you could have action game demos if you want, not just "demo". If a demo is submitted in the wrong section then it should be removed.
