Yup i want to make a 3d gta like game based on my very old click game Riot, which unfortunately no longer exists. Heres the site for the original http://www.hagartech.5u.com dont laugh that was made years ago!
Anyhow it will be based in Birmingham, and i will probably model all the landscape stuff as i know birmingham well, i can model weapons pretty good too but i suck at modelling people.
Whos interested, we need modellers, voice actors, texturers, and some programmers would be helpful.
Cars will be based on real life ones, and it would be nice too include Marinas, Mondeos, fiestas, jaguar xjs's, peugeot 206's, renault clios, transit vans, leyland vans etc.
Well whos interested (ps i cant start for two weeks, huge exams are looming).

lol I admire your confidence but to create something like that you need to be VERY VERY expirienced with that sort of genre, and as for using those cars in the game, you need permission from the actual retailers of the cars themselves..

Cars will not actually be called their names Jon, they have a similar names though  .

DBPro can. I've seen it done. 3D gamestudio you'll find it hard though  Well, if you get something started I'll help with DBP. But only if there's something to work off, as I can't model to save my life.

Jon: Dark Basic Pro is really good, im really impressed with is capabilties. It could be done, it could look better than gta 3 as it can use pixel and vertex shaders. (as long as the models are good  )

No it wont, not for just the city centre, i can model a good looking building or bridge in about 10 minutes
