A little while ago, I went to Amazon.com to get MMF 1.0. Now, as everyone knows, the Home Edition is for 99$...But I got it off there for 15$!!! I thought: 'Wow, that's practicly a steal!' and so I bought it. But I found out something when I got it: IT WAS A STEAL! It didn't have a serial code, it looked like it had been previously ripped open, and the CD was partly damaged. I returned it, and bought 1.2.
Later, I found out the same thing happened to one of my friends. He got it for 5$, but it didn't have a serial code or anything!

Does anyone from Clickteam know this????

$99 for an authoring tool puts me off anyway, especially when there are other tools that do the same (or more) for a fraction of the price...!

But cheaper authoring tools either aren't as powerful or are five times harder than using MMF. I've used a few, and some that are more expensive aren't as good as MMF.

About Amazon:

1) Clickteam never sold MMF1.0 AFAIK - IMSI did it
2) I don't think CT sold 1.2 either, but it doesn't really matter since your copy was fine and well
3) Is it really an issue for Clickteam? Probably not - it's not like THEY sell it - so go complain to whoever owns IMSI now (probably Corel)

It is quite possible that he bought a used copy, and you can never be sure what you get with a used copy, as the previous owner might have stripped down the important things before he sent it to Amazon to sell as reused.

There was a website I picked up through KNP searches called Ambrosine... The guy was a KNP user, but he had a super large list of different game making programs and game making program assistants (like art programs, 3D modellers, and music designers). But for the most part the list contained programs that were only for making games of specific genres, unlike the Click series which allows you to make generally whatever your heart and your strengths in the program will let you do. I may have to find the site somewhere in my dusty old favorites links and post it up for those curious types.

No, is. She's still around, though I don't know if she's making any more games with Click.

I wasn't complaining, Fire Monkey! I was just warning anyone who's thinking about buying your click products from Amazon.

And...I know I'm going to get flamed for asking this, but...who's Ambrosine?
*Cringe*
Am I going to get hit?

You probably didn't buy it off amazon, but off amazon marketplace. Amazon have no control over marketplace; it's just an interface between money and the person selling.
