First off I want to say this is pretty much an idea, but its an idea that is almost done. I have been creating a TDC chat, where we can all connect to and talk it up (Klikers only). Heres what I have far:
So far you can send PMs, mute, unmute and kick users (Admin options of course). Its created with Moo Click, local server (non hackable, moded example by LittleWashu).
Notice I am trying to make it as simular to TDC as possible, including game chars and art from people here at TDC. Please note! If you dont want your char on there, since I did not contact you for permission and I apoligise (Im guessing you will aprove) please tell me, and I will take it off immedietly.
All mods here at TDC will be official mods on the TDC chat, and will be allowed to enforce any rule. It will also be a clean chat room (No swearing, sexual comments, profanity ect ect)
I hope to make some games you can play with other people in the chat, simple ones like tic tack toe, pong ect ect.
Again this is nothing official, just somthing I would like to see. It will in no way replace the TDC board (Nobody is on at the same time) but it may help people more, since they can ask a question and get a quick response.
Suggestions are welcome, exept far fetched ones, and please dont ask to be admin lol.

LOL. I find it amusing how you talk to yourself like that. Somehow I think it would be that way if we actually put a TDC chat link up there.
You see, there's this thing called IRC. On a Blitzed server, there's this place called #k&p. The_Antisony and me started a cool little chan #tgf on DALnet a few years back, but since everything moved to Blitzed, #tgf was taken over by complete idiots who deposed us and now it's just a piece of junk on Blitzed.
But since you've actually taken the iniative to make one, sure, I guess some people would use it. I'd idle around there, though I still prefer idling on #k&p. But I'm a multitasker and it's easy to do so thanks to Opera™.

Flaming generally lasts a lot shorter on chats. Flame wars on boards can last for weeks because the fuel keeps coming in. On chat rooms, people get bored of flaming after a few hours.

Yeah, only thing you cant do is ban people, I mean I can ban there account, but all you gotta do is enter in a new username and pass and press register, lol.

Admins! The TDC chat will be launched very soon, your accounts are pre-registered but you need to send me your desired password, so I can make you admin aswell. If you didnt want your username to be exactly like here, thats fine, just tell me in the email. Again I cannot make any admin here, admin on the chat without an email matching the one on your profile.

#k&p was fun back during the DALnet days. Then an unofficial #k&p popped up on Blitzed when DALnet was having trouble. It was owned by someone who SOpped the idiots among the admins, who then chose another group of idiots to co-op with them. So now, it's a piece of junk that replaced the piece of junk on DALnet that was #TGF. But at least #TGF was partially controlled when I was the co-founder.
Rycon, your chat thingy doesn't seem to work for me. It's got problems connecting to the server, but that could be because of my uh.. firewall. So, would there be a firewall evasion thingy or at least a way to choose which server to connect to so I can at least redirect it around the firewall?

V-Chat and #K&P use different protocols, so it would cause a lot of confusion. Two windows is okay for me...
I'd love to see a really thin chat which tucks away in the corner of the screen, possibly with 'always on top' enabled so you can always see the chat. Speaking through MS Agent (as is the case with mIRC) isn't my perfect solution, and you can't type without opening the window again
Nice, if you do happen to make another version, you could include smilies, i did it with CT's "RTF images" example from the new RTF object update.
quite easy, although it does have some bugs, but if you could fix the bugs itd kick ass!

Can't connect to the server. You planning on putting firewall workarounding in there?
Joe, try putting it in drive C. If Rycon's using DMC, like people with external WAV files always do, it'll only work when on C for some reason.

Well im not using DMC. Im using Direct Sound. Should work if the sound files are in the same directory as the execute.
You should have no problems connecting through a firewall, I can connect to myself just fine (No not using local host) and I have 2 firewalls, and I am not DMZ.

I put in a name and password then clicked the register button. Then this little countdown timer thing appeared. And around the time it reaches one, it writes "Could not connect, server may be down".
Am I missing something here?
