Do those animating programs really exist? I mean, I've heard that there are programs that could just do those animations between keyframes and all. If they do exist, what's a good animating program?

Probably Macromedia Flash. It has those keyframe features you mentioned and the results are pretty good. It wont do 3D movies on its own though.

Flash is decent, but is it possible to copy & paste it into say... MMF?

I've heard of Easytoon and GIF Movie Player, but where would I get them?

flash can export to an animated GIF which you could in turn import into MMF.
