Oh and BTW, there's a site that let you build a PC and then gives you an instant pricing. Kind of useful if you ask me... http://www.pcsupreme.com/soum.htm

see if you can upgrade the board to an 800mhz, it'll increase the performance of you computer by a lot.

If you buy the bits seperately and build it yourself you can save a *lot* of money. When I got this 600MHz pc, it was top of the range and might have cost an awful lot Buying the bits seperately I was able to make my PC on a bugget of £300. I recently looked around on dabs.com, and with £100 keeping the same monitor and accessories, I could get a 2.5GHz+ pc with vast amounts of RAM

I might get the salesman to swith the motherboard to a 800mhz one and the video card to a 9600... For a minor price raise. Cool.

If you have a P4 try and get RD-RAM...It's pretty expensive but the top is 2400mhz *I think* and it runs sooooo smooth...You can only get it at certain places though as it's fairly new and can only be used with P4s, and you have to have matched pairs.

They really need to drop that whole matched pair thing.
