Is it possible to bring Active System Boxes to the front during runtime? I can't find any events for it. Can anyone help?

Actually yes it is possible to do. You need to use the Layer Object extension, which is designed exactly for this situation.

Always:
• Layer Object -> Select Object by Object Picker -> Bring to front Active system box

Simple as that. The same thing can be done for counters and strings and all types of things too

Layer object serves a number of purposes:

Bring objects to front/back that cant be set directly to in the event editor. ie things like counters, strings, graphical extensions, etc

Sorting objects into an order of display level depending on X or Y coordinates (um, that sounds a little weird, but its VERY handy for isometric and mode7 and similar semi-3D things)

For most people layer objects simply gives u a means to have your HUD (health bar and such) always on top of everything, so you dont have enemies walking over your health bar so you cant see it, etc

That's true. I actually never used the layer before, but after reading Biax's first post I put it in my robot competition game.
