i can't save the gif because it gives me the error:
Image must be converted to 8 bit or less before saving as GIF
i convert the game to 256 color mode, the image looks the same so i save it, it only has the first frame, i chose frame 1 through 6 and only frame 1 came out
i make a new animation and it turns out i still have the same error, but no way to fix the stupid thing!
help!

You're right -- I suggest submitting it to the MMF Bug Box at the Clickteam website.

It appears to be working now -- keep trying. Otherwise send Jeff a DC Message, he comes on DC every now and then. He'll forward it on to the programmers.
