I'm not shading any of the sprites in my game. It's just the look I'm going for. Plus it's a hell of a lot easier to animate when you don't have to shade everything.
And thanks for the comments. It's definitely a thing.
Nice. I like it. Only prob I'd say is that the sprite's a tad too small, and the guy looks like a girl (or is it really supposed to be a girl?)
