pretty slick, looks kind of like a squashed tomato though.
lol, its an example,so I had little interest in top quality graphics (Note: the lib GFX.) Jon also commented about how peculiar the fact that so much blood can come from such a little guy, but its easy to mess around with the deceleration and speed points of the gibs and blood to create more interesting effects.

the method i used isn't explained in any of the paragraphs in your article, yours mainly relys on the animation's splurting qualitys, mine relys on bouncing movement of the blood for splattering.
