I was just thinking... instead of trying to beg someone for a squad engine, why not hire someone to help out with the game? I'd like to code the whole thing myself, but as it is, I don't have nearly enough time to do everything. I've already got some assistance with the graphics so all I need now is...
- A combat engine programmer dude (it's a squad-based hunt-the-ghosts type)
- A still graphics artist, who could help out with portraits, pictures of guns, furniture, etc
I could probably handle the story, unit design, polishing, research engine, data storage, character interaction, that kinda stuff...
So, anyone wanna be in?

I meant squad-based as in X-Com style. But since turn-based squad system is so damn hard to do, I guess something like Fallout Tactics will do. Or maybe even a 8-dir multiple char control thing. Doesn't matter, as long as it's strategic-like.
Uh... there's an artist who's name spelling is different on email and the DC. "tobbe agge" to follow the DC spelling.
I've already started with it, though I've left the plans at home. I could send it to you by um... next time I'm online.

Oh... damn, did I mention it was supposed to be top-down? Next to impossible to draw good isometric animations with the average kliker skill, y'know. Sorry.
Yeah, I said I'd get the plans next time I was online, but I didn't think the internet would work today. I was thinking more of Wednesday .

Hey Muz what about these? I think an Iso game will be Miles better for something like this. (i have got to re render them as they have been resized etc)
HagarTech:
They look nice... but are you sure you really want to do it in iso? I mean, there's extra work and drawing it all would be a lot harder uless you do it in 3D. But I'll ask around to see if anyone else minds.
