I just wanted to let everyone know that JP was just banned. Now, I have no problem with the Admin's decision to ban him, seeing as though he did violate some rules and such, but what I can't understand is why is nothing being done about defenstrator, or what ever his name is.
Just look at the last few posts by him in this topic:
http://www.create-games.com/forum_post.asp?id=76991&show=all
Now these two were furiously going at it apparently and why? Because defenstrator wants to make little stupid comments to make people mad. Granted, most of us won’t do what JP did, but if JP was banned, what should we do with defenstrator, I mean, JP wouldn’t have done anything if it weren’t for him.
I also think it’s real funny how when people think a conversation is sooooooooooo boring, they have the obligation to tell everyone in that topic. IF YOU THINK ITS BORING, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN IT IN THE FIRST PLACE, SMART GUY?

Thats terrible that they banned JP.
I have respect for him, he's a smart kid. We had some conflicting viewpoints, most of which I couldn't argue very well(mostly because Im not all that good at making the case on an internet Forum!) But Still!
I think he changed a few things I thought, one being the validity in the 9/11 commmsiion. I don't want to start another Spanish troops thread. (so don't)
Keep in mind that JP had a program called "Prank"...something or other. It was used to prank people. I might not of been appropriate.
Aside from that, all I see is censorship.

I think it's obvious that we have no choice but to castrate me.
=======
Okay, I'm going to try to cover everything here with one post even though I know it will probably only make things worse, and I'll get dragged into another prolonged BS session until some humanitarian comes along and locks this. Just thought I'd give a heads up to those who are reading this but also aren't really interested in this ridiculous melodrama: this will be long and have no direct bearing on your life.
=======
Listen: if we banned everyone who was found guilty of making "stupid comments" in the forums, there's be MAYBE five people left. The Daily Click is the largest Click community BECAUSE there is no standard of quality. People can argue whether that's good or bad, but some place has to be open for the masses, and you have to be willing to take the good with the bad. You don't like me? You think I'm mean and stupid? Guess what. Dealing with unpleasantness is part of life, so you'd probably do well to get used to it now.
You'll note I never said that no one should be allowed to make stupid forum threads or post their worthless opinions. Nor do I think that calling your opinion worthless should be taken as an insult, because there are people who have influence in matters of world politics and they don't spend their time making video games. So anyone else is just arguing for the sake of arguing. In my opinion, that's a waste of time. It might seem like a contradiction to argue about arguing, but the difference is that you can yack on about it until the end of time, but nothing you say here will have any effect on Spain withdrawing its troops from Iraq, whereas there remains in my mind a faint glimmer of hope that all the useless bastards of the world who spend all kinds of time trying to win pointless arguments on the computer with people they'll never meet in real life might possibly be shown how big a waste of their time that is. I'm certain I'm being overly optimistic in holding that opinion, but really, when you're 80, are you going to be sitting in the nursing home, fondly reminiscing about the time you won an argument with some strangers about Spain's troop withdrawl? I'm actually a little worried about how some people would answer that question.
Now, while my opinion might be that some of these arguments people have might be pointless, I wouldn't try to prohibit people from having them. I would probably try to talk them out of it, but if they don't listen, that's understandable. Some people need to argue in order to feel like they're good at something. But JP wasn't banned for arguing. JP was banned because he attempted to post my phone number and address on the forums. I can't help but notice you failed to mention that little tidbit. Anyway, Sherlock also got the wrong guy, which makes him not only a nutjob, but inconsiderate and stupid to boot. If all he wanted to do was verbally abuse me, I'm fine with that because the people on my computer are not my friends and I don't really care what they have to say about me. Fact is, I generally don't bother reading it. And neither should you, because if your skin is really so thin that the opinions of strangers you'll never meet in your whole life are that important to you, you need to turn the computer off for a few weeks, leave the house, and maybe spend some time meeting some actual living human beings instead of holing yourself up in your bedroom and planning your vengeance. Oh, there I go again with my foolish optimism again, I guess. Anyway, JP's gone because he crossed the line into Nutcase Land. If you want that kind of guy around, let him post your personal contact information on the internet and then tell me how much you like him. What did I do? Tell someone they were being stupid? And you want to say I'm as bad as him? Give me a break.
Anyway, here's the bottom line for the attention-deficient: if you have the right to say something stupid, then why don't I have the right to say that I think it's stupid?
That's a rhetorical question, by the way.

Mind you, recently JP had started a thread about how Clickteam didn't care for their customers because his TGF wasn't working and was repeatedly told to just get MMF... a topic he wouldn't easily let go of. This may have added to the cause of his being banned.

Dude, your an idiot.
First of all, I'm not going on any crusade to make you become banned, although you should. I never said they should ban you for making stupid comments, I said you should be banned for breaking the rules, try reading them.
I know why JP was banned, and I assumed everyone else did, sorry. But, the fact is still, you need to learn how to shut your little mouth. If people want to argue here, it's fine, you sticking your self in only shows how much interest and how much of a dork you problably are. If people want to talk, let them, you don't need to get involved and if you want to get involved, then you should actually say something smart than "oh you are all a bunch of children and stuff"
And don't even fucking tell me about leaving the house, and I'm sure if you were as fucking smart as you claim to be, I'm rarely here, and I'm only here now because I am sick and have nothing better to do. You know what, how about you fucking go out of your god damn shack, then you could actually learn some respect. Besides, I don't think that anyone who is soo into leaving thier house would randomly be going around into places like this just to tell people their stupid and then stick around to say it some more.
I don't think your as bad as JP, I think your worse. You go around insulting teenagers on the internet, then make a whole bunch of hippocritical statements like the fact that your soo up for trying to get us to stop arguing on the internet, then you turn around and say "I'm fine with that because the people on my computer are not my friends and I don't really care what they have to say about me." Somehow Im forced to believe that with an attitude like that, you'd tend to have absolutly "no" friends.
I'd bet you'd cry if you got banned.
Now let's all watch as the guy that tells us all and myself to get off our computers and go out into the world, even though most of us have, comes back and compleatly contradicts what he just said!

Alright, enough people. I'm going to tell you all how the system works.
One - an admin requests a ban.
Two - This ban request is put into Shadowcaster aand/or Clubsoft with information regard what the user has done.
Three - Shads/Club either do the ban or not.
----
@Gilgamesh - JP was banned because he posted someone else's personal info on the message boards. That's a big no no.
@Chamzel - Clickteam had nothing to do with it.
----
Now please, can we just get on with our lives here?
Craps, I'm an old man!
