I want to make an MMORPG, now I'm learning moo but I wonder how many people can be online at the same time on a dedicated server using MooGame/Click. Thanks in advance

As many as the servers winsock can handle, usually about 65000 isn't it?

Using MooClick you can divide people onto channels. Each channel is separate, and depends on the connections of the people on the channel. Technically a 1mbit dsl server could probably handle about 200 people, unless they have to comminucate with the server lots.

If you send everything through the server(for security) you will require a MUCH faster connection on your server.

it also depeneds on what kind of info is being shot across the internet, if its all text, it will go quickly, if your tracking objects, you will have to worry about massive amounts of players

Ofcourse a smart person would send the coordinates as text(or better yet binary) to lower bandwidth.

Well, obviously there is a limit, MMF even has a 10,000 object limit, so if there is an object for each user...

I want to make a war game, not a MMORPG. You will be a soldier of the red or the blue army. So maybe I will need lot of objects, but now is only on paper but I hope to start making it soon.
Is MooClick/Game powerful enough to make real masive multiplayer online games?

Mooclick is your choice for a mmorpg. Don't forget to make a dead reckoning system aswell, our you will crash and burn .

The theoretical limit is probably either 65,000 or 4 billion, as those are the limits of an unsigned 16 bit or 32 bit integer, so those will be hard coded in to WinSock or whatever.
The practical limit is different, as the server may only be able to manage a few hundred users before it slows down or becomes unusable. Alternatively as Klikmaster said you may hit the 10,000 object limit if you have an object per player. If you have a chat room you will probably hit the server's limit before the list object's 32,768 line limit.
