like what extensions? It has to be some good extensions if I want to use $200 extra. Is it possible to "upgrade" from stardard to pro and not pay full prize?
Haha. Anyway, in MMF Pro you have more extensions, you can sell your applications freely and customise the version information (when you right-click an application).
Pro-only extensions:
Trial - add trial functionality (time limitation, integration with Install Creator Pro)
Dialog Box - create your own Windows dialogue boxes, with tabs and more
Data Grid - like Excel
Double Precision - decimal numbers with higher precision
Explorer - display a Windows Explorer-style window in your apps
List View - List object with as many columns as you want
OS - Get various system information
Email - Communicate with POP3 and SMTP servers
the price gap creates the illusion that the pro edition is $200 better, when it isn't.

It's mainly the licence. With standard, if you want to sell your games, you have to put various logos on the packaging, in the game, in credits, inform clickteam of your commercial activity etc. etc. With pro, there are no restrictions: you can distribute your games/apps with no limitations or mention of Clickteam/MMF. Yes, if you compare it to macromedia, it's actually great value still but Standard is fine for the hobbyist, Pro is for more serious users. DialogBox is a really great extension though! Seriously good. Amazing, in fact. Plus you get to edit version information. Up to you, most hobbyists dont need those extras.
Il never sell one of my games, if it isnt really really really good, which ait gonna happen. But I do want some great extension and more power. MMF2? is there some info on that, Ive just moved from TGF to MMF if there are new windows I have to learn, then damn it.
If you like to develop Applications, MMF PRO is for you. plus the extensions arent "little" extensions, these extensions are alot better/bigger then your average one. but there is very few of them, but the ones that are out are great.
