Ok. I got two extensions for control (control interpreter and controlX), and they ask for Key Values. They say that, for example, 32 is the space bar. How do you figure out which key has which value?

P.S. DON'T post to tell me that another extension would be better. I JUST want to know how to figure the Key Values for the different keys.

Ok, thats dandy. My prob is in my game i need the right shift button to perform an action, but the left shift button do nothing. There IS an extension for this, but it creates a big logo in the middle of the frame, and i want an alternative.

Stupid question: Why the right shift? Why not use both shifts and give the players a choice?

XP distinguishes between left/right shift. I don't think any other versions of windows do though.(except possibly 2000...or does it?)

I HAVE windows XP, but i dosent make a difference! I go to "button is pressed" in event editor, press right shift, and write my events. but they work for left shift, too!

That's to maintain compatability with earlier windows versions. I would have thought Control X would distinguish between the two shifts, though.
