I have the WS_FTP le (the free version) and a broad band support for a homepage with 10megs. But Im not that sure how I use the FTP program. I managed to make a index, but the links throughout the rest of my page isnt there, and I cant view any pictures (http://home.broadpark.no/~krhannev/). I think maybe there is some problem around making directories, that is always a problem to me. If anyone has this program and can explain what Im doing wrong (show me with pictures would be excellent) that woud be great.

You need to upload the other pages.
The following files need uploading to the SAME directory as your index:

*Monkey.jpg
*Games.htm
*Links.htm
*Guestbook.htm

You should have them on your PC somewhere - look for them on WS_FTP then highlight them and click the arrow point like ">" and they will upload.

Works for me, but many browsers get messed up by %## chars.

space = %20
~~~~~ = %7
etc..
works for me in netscape 7.1. kramy's right, you should replace the %7 with a ~ in the url for the image.
hey I get it now. I just have to open the web with another adress, like this " http://home.broadpark.no/%7Ekrhannev/ " and it works! Are there some explorers or computers that needs to open it this way " http://home.broadpark.no/~krhannev/ "? In that case, it sucks cos the page would only work for some peapules.
Making webpages is easy -- you've just got to remember not to use any builders such as Dreamweaver, etc, because they suck. If you code everything by hand in Notepad then you can optimise the tags, and you know exactly what's going on.
