I am just contemplating making MODs and wondered if there was a way to do chords in them (so it plays more than one note at once). If there isn't a way, then I may as well not make any as I am going to make my guitar tunes into music for my games, and I might as well do it in midis (although it sounds crap).

Noodle: use more than one track I'd set up around 4 to 6 tracks for one instrument.

Use several channels in order to make a chord. Don't use chord samples, they just aren't pretty practical.
The only reason why people used chord samples in the older MOD days was to get around the limits of the MOD format (Back in the days where MOD was truly popular and started out, you only had about 8 channels to compose on so using 3 different channels to make a chord was a bad idea) but in this current time where MOD files can virtually have any number of channels, there's no reason to use chord samples anymore.

That's right, split the chord in to notes across several channels (just to reiterate what everyone else has said).
