Hey, animeeditor and I are working on a penguin platformer game. He is an awesome artist and I am programming but neither of us can do level editing. We have all the graphics done so all the level editor has to do is place the tiles. If you are interested email me at oldsockz@hotmail.com or talk to me on Mkybone3 on Aim. Thanks for the help.

An ingame screenie would convince more people to make levels... A level editor would help too

You have been slightly misleading, because they're not exactly 'awesome' graphics. Theyre OK. But what really brings them down is the fact that your artist has obviously been saving all of his work as JPEGs which causes that fuzzy, ugly white outline around the sprites. I also think all the characters are too big, but that can still work.
Save as BMPs, or PNGs if you plan on uploading them. Good luck finding someone to help you, and I hope it gets finished.

Hey don't insult jpegs like that! Jpegs are good, as long as they are exported from a decent program like psp, saving a jpeg from paint is not a good idea

I think he said he was making them in flash or something? I dont know but thanks for the comments, we'll probably end up making them smaller and we'll be sure to get rid of the white line, thanks.

this is the artist, and you really can't make a clear judement of the gfx until you've played the game.the whole white outline and pixely stuff comes from the pics being uploaded to the web, mostly. some of the other ingame comes from the gfx being from flash animations, and ive still gotten rid of a lot of that, so a real nit-picker could find the few pixels of white. and the whole "too big sprites" stuff actually is much different ingame, for it is a fast-paced platformer, and the big people work out really well. the animations are also very smooth and are like character from a cartoon. i would tell you guys more and give you a playable demo, but this is a game i kinda wanna keep in the dark until i finish it.

"White outlines" and "pixely stuff" do not come from uploading to the web. The files online are exactly as they are on your comp.

ok, i worked on the gfx a lot, and the white stuff is like all gone. dont have any screenies, but who really cares. the only people that care about games in early development are the creators, and noone else could give a damn lol its true.
