Anyone ever see the dude who plays Wesley on Buffy and Angel? He has a Bondness about him, plus he can do a great English accent.
I know Ewan McGreggor has been mentioned, but that wouldn't work, he doesn't have the right look. He can play junkie, trumpet playing Jedi dude all he wants, he's good at that shit, but he's not got any 'Bond' about him.
Maybe though it would be better to scrap the Bond thing now, leave it at 20, or however many. It's also funny how people always go on about horror films and such having loads of sequels, but everyone loves Bond doing the same thing every movie, twice as many as any horror franchise.

They should take the lead of many American sitcoms and create spinoff series - like one called '006' (I'll let you guess what that would be about)

i think he's coming back in series 3. a dip in the channel does you the world of good, even if you've just shot your boss and you're being chased by the SAS. you're right, he'd kick arse as bond, he's a tad wooden though, and we'd need to see a bit more womanizing.

AsparagusTrevor, his name is Alexis Denisof and yeah he'd be a decent Bond, better than Eric Spanner-in-the-works anyday.

(yes I watched Buffy and Angel, let me have it I don't give a shit lol)

Show me the power child,
I'd like to say,
That I'm down on my knees today,
Gives me the butterflies,
Gives me away,
'Til I'm up on my feet again,
I'm feeling outshined.

George Lazenby was australian. The only english James Bond was Roger Moore. Meanwhile I'm just glad Brosnan isn't doing it again. He's good, but he's old now.

Meanwhile: Hilarious, and kudos to Pete for the Simpsons' line.
